Reflective, prismatic, diverse.
On this trip, allured beyond its bleached-out beaches and wild coastlines we are drawn into the vibrant hubs of MEXICO CITY & OAXACA to taste, experience and engage with the ingredients, techniques and traditions of both mezcal and local cuisine.
We invite you to uncover with us cultural nuances expressed through ingredients, where the ancient past is reflected, and indigenous cultures are honored.
In Mexico City we stay at the newly designed Circulo Mexicano for 3 nights amidst a myriad of architecture from the ancient and colonial to art deco and modernist. On the outskirts of Mexico City, Xochimilco exemplifies sustainability, where floating agricultural islands produce 40 thousand tons of agricultural production per year…… fundamental to uncovering the connectivity and expression of gastronomy in Mexico.
In Oaxaca after our intercity flight, we find home at Hotel Antonieta or Hotel Sin Nombre for 2 nights, both remodeled homes into hotels, architecturally beautiful and drenched in history. From here we allow our palettes the continued romance with food as well as mezcal.
We will visit Casa Silencio’s design-forward agave production, sophisticated while honoring mysticism and the ancestral craft of mezcal.
Xochimilco and Casa Silencio are revered as ceremonial concepts of expression and connection with nature. Experiencing both allows a beautiful, contrasting vantage point to uncover expressions and techniques where food and drink are inseparable from life.

Cuba
Cuba
A collaboration trip led by
Del Caimán & TOLVE
ALL INCLUSIVE
Cuba’s style evokes an essence and sway unlike any other.
DATES: Three Options
Oct. 20-26, 2023

Mar. 1-7, 2024
7 days, 6 nights
All-inclusive price PP $4950
Group size: 8 travelers
If your soul has an untamed and insatiable curiosity for the exotic (as ours does) then likely you have had the desire to travel to CUBA. A country that stands still in time, a postage stamp of culture insulated from the rest of the world, and “heartbreakingly beautiful” as Bourdain puts it. We travel to the island in collaboration with Del Caimán, a non-profit founded by Cubans to empower diverse artists with a platform and connection to the global community. “Cuban ART is a monument to perseverance”, a word that could easily describe much of the culture and way of life in CUBA.
Perseverant, yes. Also, passionate, proud, sultry, rich in tradition, and creatively ingenious. Cuban’s style evokes an essence and sway unlike any other. Their kindness is infectious, music and art a form of storytelling, and rum an elixir of the gods that makes for the perfect daiquiri. Havana, the capital, is rich with architectural buildings of a bygone era, lingering facades, stunning in form and beauty, remnants of once colonial opulence. Cars from the ‘50s and plumes of smoke from hand rolled cigars off the lips of elders have vibrant presence, while outside the capital bleached out beaches and glistening shorelines contrast the islands interior of rugged terrain and tobacco fields as far as the eye can see.
Curious to journey deeper into the essence CUBA? We visit Cuba through the eyes of Cubans.
With an early afternoon arrival in Havana, we welcome the heat and are whisked out of the city to an exquisite private mountain retreat in Terrazas. Situated in a UNESCO biosphere this western region is expansive and beautiful – the air is fresh and the tropical swimming holes seductive. After an evening immersed in nature, we continue to Viñales, where rugged vignettes frame the mountains and valleys as if from a dream – breathtaking and picturesque, tobacco claiming its presence, captivating the senses. Here we find connection with one of the islands staple crops and legacy for the best cigars in the world.
On the third day we escape to the coast experiencing the wild and remote white sand beach of Cayo Jutia, a paradise only for those who know where to look. After moments of tranquility, reflection, and rejuvenation amidst the expansive Caribbean blue we journey back to the countryside for a Cuban style pig roast reveling in a style of living authentic to the island’s interior.
For NYE dates, this is where we will unravel the evening in private style, inclusive of beer & rum welcoming the new year!
In beautiful contrast to the outlying regions of the island our final two days are spent exploring Havana – immersing in the most iconic landmarks, wandering the plazas, and driving the streets from the vantage point of a classic car. While the sun dips into the horizon we tuck into acclaimed restaurants and bars, once frequented by the likes of Ernest Hemingway, often accompanied by dance and local music.

Entrusting natures eloquence and propelled by gentle winds our uncovering of EGYPT’S magnificence is centered around a private barefoot luxury sail down the NILE, the longest most intriguing river in the world.
A country with the oldest civilization in the world, EGYPT’S depth of culture & expansive terrain is beyond fascinating, blurring the lines between ancient and modern. To travel there is to entangle oneself in the archeological wonders and myriad of mythological tales raptured by the celestial world of the gods – this country is a destination cloaked with mystery.
Curious to journey deeper into the essence of EGYPT? Our rhythmically thoughtful itinerary includes two nights in Cairo, the country’s epicenter of art, culture, & history as well as iconic wonders of the world; the pyramids of Giza, King Khufu, and the Sphinx. Our stay is sophisticated and positioned for glimpses, moments, and introductions into the mystery, the culture. On the third day we take a flight to Luxor for two nights, a city revered as the world’s ‘greatest open air museum’. Luxor is calm, lush, with enfolding archeological beauty upon both sides of the Nile. After immersing in the synchrony of historical monuments and landscape, we embark on our journey down the great river, exposing in beautiful form and harmony with nature the link between Egyptian way of life, agriculture, and the celestial world of the gods.
Sailing in exquisite sway with an awarded luxury and design forward cruise company, Nour el Nl, we escape the crowds and find rhythm on a gorgeous Dahabiya, an Egyptian river yacht, built intentionally to offer an unparalleled and unique blend of authentic architecture with modern luxury.
Enthralled, we sail from Luxor to Aswan over the course of six days and five nights to breathe in its legend. Leisurely uncovering myths while visiting lesser-known archeological sites finding time in between to wander and swim, eat and drink, and luxuriate in perfect moments of stillness in the light and shadows cast on the banks of the infamous river.
